Terms of Service

Last updated 7 September 2026

1. This agreement

These terms govern your use of APINEX, a football data API operated by IOTA IT LLC, Dhaka, Bangladesh (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, issuing an API key or calling the API you accept them.

If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and “you” means that company.

2. The service

APINEX provides football fixtures, live scores, competitions, standings, teams, players, transfers and related data over an HTTP API, together with a dashboard for managing your account.

Coverage varies by competition and is not guaranteed. Data is compiled from third-party sources and delivered as it is received, so it may contain errors, gaps or delays. Anything you build on it should tolerate that.

3. Your account and API keys

You must give accurate registration details and keep your password and API keys secret. Every call made with your key is treated as made by you, and you are responsible for what your key does even if somebody else used it.

Tell us immediately if you believe a key has leaked. You can rotate a key from the dashboard at any time, which takes effect on the next request.

Accounts are individual. Do not share an account between separate businesses, and do not open multiple accounts to work around a quota.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, redistribute or syndicate the raw data to third parties, or build a competing data API from it
  • exceed or attempt to circumvent your plan's rate limits, or spread one plan's quota across several products
  • scrape, mirror or bulk-export the data set beyond what your application genuinely needs to function
  • use the service for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes somebody else's rights
  • remove or obscure attribution where we ask for it

5. Data rights

Some of what the API returns — including club crests, competition marks and player imagery — may be subject to intellectual property or commercial rights held by leagues, federations, clubs or other rights holders. Access to the API is not a licence to those rights.

You are responsible for checking what your intended use requires and for obtaining any permission it needs, particularly for betting, broadcast, fantasy sports or large-scale public distribution. We give no warranty of clearance and accept no liability for unauthorised use.

6. Quotas and rate limits

Each plan carries a daily request allowance and a per-minute rate limit. Both are enforced per API key, and the current figures are always readable from your dashboard and from the X-RateLimit headers on every response.

Exceeding a limit returns HTTP 429 rather than incurring an extra charge. Allowances reset at midnight UTC.

We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the service for everyone, and will not do so to single you out without telling you why.

7. Fees, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on the interval shown on the plan. Prices are quoted exclusive of any tax that may apply to you.

The terms you subscribe on — price, daily allowance, key allowance — are fixed at the moment you subscribe. If we later change a plan, your existing subscription keeps the terms you agreed to until you change plan yourself.

You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account returns to the free tier. We do not refund part-used periods unless the law requires it.

If a payment fails we may suspend API access until it is settled.

8. Availability

We work to keep the API available and responsive, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment on the plans sold through this site. Maintenance, upstream outages and events outside our control can interrupt the service.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service or other customers at risk, or where we are required to by a rights holder or by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. Closing it revokes your API keys immediately and ends billing. Your records are archived rather than deleted, because invoices and usage history have to be retained.

10. Changes to the API and to these terms

The API is versioned. We add fields and endpoints without notice; we do not remove or repurpose an existing field within a version without marking the endpoint deprecated first and publishing a sunset date in the documentation and in the Deprecation and Sunset response headers.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the dashboard before they take effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
